Benefits of Volunteering
Our volunteering roles provide opportunities for you to do something you enjoy and make a difference. Rebuilding lives after brain injury is a team effort. Our people make CBIS what it is, whether they are a member of staff or a volunteer. Did you know that there are over 3,400 brain injury survivors in the Cowichan area and more than 180,000 pre-existing brain injury survivors in British Columbia? Each day there are 60 new brain injuries adding up to 22,000 new cases of brain injury in British Columbia each year. With your support, CBIS can provide peer-to-peer support to brain injury survivors, provide vital services, and campaign for better brain injury care. By volunteering with CBIS, you can change the lives of those affected by brain injury, and it could change your life too. Look below at the benefits of volunteering with CBIS.
