Ways to Give

Leave a gift in your will

Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS) has come a long way with little funding. Imagine what your gift could help us achieve? A future free from an acquired brain injury which includes stroke? With your support CBIS believes anything is possible. Your generous gift could help us support over 3,400 survivors in the Cowichan area to rebuild their lives.

If you'd like to learn more about leaving a gift in your Will, please contact our Executive Director, who will be happy to answer all your questions.

Give in celebration

Celebrate your birthday, wedding or any other special occasion by supporting Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS). All of the funds raised in celebration will go on to rebuild more lives after brain injury which includes strokes.

Just giving

Some couples choose to ask for donations rather than gifts from their guests. If this is something you're interested in, CBIS could help create a 'page' to collect donations from friends and family. The link to your page can even be added to your wedding invitations.

Gift aid collection envelopes

Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS) can provide Gift Aid envelopes to your guests if you're asking people to donate on the day. Call the Executive Director at 250-597-4662 or chris@cowichanbraininjury.org to find out more.

In memory giving

Donations made in memory of a loved one are a special way to help fund vital brain injury support which includes strokes.

We are aware that this is a particularly challenging time for everyone, but we know it may be especially difficult for those who have lost a loved one and for those who cannot say goodbye as they would wish. We're here for you. If there's anything we can help you with, please contact our Executive Director at 250-597-4662 or chris@cowichanbraininjury.org to find out more.

Tribute funds

If you've chosen to support Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS) because you've lost someone special to a brain injury which includes strokes, then you may be interested in setting up a Tribute Fund in their memory. You guests can then donate in your loved one's name and you could have a memorial table at your wedding where guests can remember them. Call the Executive Director at 250-597-4662 or chris@cowichanbraininjury.org to find out more.

Matched fundraising

Check to see if your workplace would match everything you raise for Cowichan Brain Injury Society (CBIS). If you're planning to fundraise at your wedding, ask if this is something they would offer.

Gifts for the wedding party

If you're looking for the perfect gift for your wedding party, look no further than our live edge coasters (set of 4). The profits from every set of coasters sold will help to rebuild more lives after brain injury which includes strokes.

Partnerships

We are searching for partners to provide our survivors useful products to support them in their recovery such as apps, daily living equipment and other products across their lifespan.

We would like our survivors to be able to quote "Cowichan Brain Injury Society or CBIS" when they contact a service partner to receive discounts. If you are interested in being one of these partners, please contact Emma Knock at emma@cowichanbraininjury.org or 250-597-4662.
